2015 Kweichow Moutai Baijiu Liquor From China

Two 500ml bottles were given to us as a gift a few years ago by the father of a friend when visiting the U.S. from China. At first we thought it tasted like turpentine. But, as we've gotten near the bottom of the first bottle and used to the taste, we've gotten to enjoy it more.

We noticed that they added a few new items to The Tartan Room menu. Above right is
a photo of the Chicken Diablo, one of the new menu items, and it was excellent.

We brought our own wine to The Tartan Room and paid the corkage fee. We often do this when we go out to eat at restaurants. This was one of the oldest wines in our extensive collection. It is a 2015 Syrah that we purchased a few years ago from the Les Bourgeois Vineyards in Missouri. We liked it so much that we purchased an entire case of it. This was our last bottle from that case. Most of the wines in our collection are from California, Oregon and Washington with a few from Europe (Old World) and South America, Australia and South Africa (New World)>
